Waterfalls are some of the most beautiful things in the world. From the U.S to Africa there are waterfalls that millions of tourists flock to every year. Cities have been built around waterfalls, others require deep treks into the jungle. Every waterfall is unique and beautiful in its own way. This website will cover some of my favorite waterfalls on the planet. Angel Falls in South America, Niagara falls in North America, Victoria Falls in Africa, and Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park.

Formation

The way most waterfalls are formed really is pretty simple. More often than not a river will flow into a valley or steep hill which will cause the waterfall to form. Overtime, erosion will give the falls a more defined shape, like the Horseshoe falls at Niagara Falls.
